The Visit Archive is a very extended component, dedicated to the Doctor and hidden
from the Secretary, which mainly allows the medical details of the visit, text,
multimedia and keywords, to be stored and subsequently browsed, searched and compared.
This part of the program is naturally the central function for the Doctor and contains
many tools for him: an andvanced text editor, a multimedia archive, automatic filling
of letters and prescriptions, fully customizable quick insert fields (Anamnesis,
Operations, Exams, etc) for easy insertion and browsing of medical data. Some 'dictionaries'
with the most common and frequent terms can be configured to make the visit faster,
avoiding typing the same phrases again and again. The same dictionaries can be used
for a more structured and well designed search or comparison of past visits.
The textual editor (Memo) for the visit can be integrated with personalized insertion
templates which generate formatted text from a form similar to the paper ones which
have been used until now (check the Template Module section for more details).
All these and other tools can be quite useful in assisting the comparison of pathologies
and to have a complete view of the patient medical history.
Visit Memo
The Memo is an advanced text editor with tools such as: font selection, highlight colour,
dotted lists, tables, link insertion, etc.
This editor is enhanced by the possibility of embedding Personalized Templates Modules
Prescriptions and Letters
Every visit can contain a letter or prescription which can be hand-typed,
generated through a template, or derived from the keywords and fields filled
in the dismission tab. The letter has a customizable rich-text heading, date, place
and other data which are completely optional.
The options panel gives the component an excellent flexibility in satisfying
the needs of every branch of medicine.
